Manoj Jarange Patil to Hold Major Public Meetings in Pune, Targeting BJP’s Madhuri Misal

Pune, 29th October 2024: Maratha reservation activist Manoj Jarange Patil is scheduled to hold two major public meetings in Pune ahead of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Elections. The meetings will take place in Bibwewadi and Hingane, and are expected to adversely affect the sitting MLA from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Madhuri Misal. Patil is supporting Sachin Taware, the candidate for the Parvati constituency, who has filed his candidacy with Patil’s endorsement.

Patil announced his meetings in Bibwewadi and Hingane, both of which fall within the Parvati constituency. Approximately 130,000 voters from the Maratha community reside in this area, making their support crucial from a political standpoint. Given the current situation, political experts assert that Manoj Jarange Patil’s meetings focused on the Maratha reservation issue could significantly impact the BJP’s standing in the elections.
