Kasba Peth, 29th October 2024: Ganesh Bhokare, the official candidate of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) for the Kasba Assembly Constituency, filed his nomination today with MNS leader Sharmila Thackeray by his side.

Earlier, Bhokare demonstrated his support by leading a procession through the constituency, accompanied by hundreds of workers who took darshan of the village deity, Kasba Ganapati.

In addition to Sharmila Thackeray, the nomination filing at Ganesh Kala Krida Manch in Swargate was attended by MNS General Secretary Rita Gupta, Bhokare’s wife Amrita Bhokare, city organizer Nilesh Hande, and other party members.

Speaking on the occasion, Sharmila Thackeray stated, “MNS is set to be a game changer in this year’s assembly elections. All our candidates are young, ambitious, and focused on development. While politics in the state is deteriorating, the issues of common people are being overlooked. We are contesting this election on the basis of issues and the protection of Maharashtra’s identity. MNS is providing an opportunity for youth leadership. The people are weary of the same old faces in the Kasba constituency and believe that Ganesh Bhokare will emerge victorious.”

She added, “All MNS candidates are entering the battlefield with the aim of winning in the state. Amit Thackeray’s victory in Mahim is assured. We have not sought support from either Mahayuti or Mahavikas Aghadi. Our focus is solely on fighting and winning. We believe Amit will provide a strong challenge to everyone and ultimately win.”

Sharmila also expressed confidence that all three candidates from MNS in Pune will succeed.

Ganesh Bhokare remarked, “With the blessings of the people of Kasba constituency, I have submitted my candidature today. In the last three elections, voters have responded positively to MNS. The Bharatiya Janata Party and now the Congress have had their MLAs here, yet the issues remain unresolved.”
