Shivajinagar, 24th July 2026: Gather, the neighbourhood restaurant by Together Hospitality, marked its second anniversary by launching ‘The Next Course’, an annual initiative focused on community engagement, culture and social impact.

Established in 2024 by Together Hospitality—the group behind Pune’s popular dining destinations Elephant & Co., Cobbler & Crew, Izipizi Street, and Juju—Gather has quickly evolved into one of the city’s most-loved restaurants, known for its ingredient-first philosophy and thoughtfully curated dining experiences.

Conceived as an annual platform, The Next Course brings together the group’s loyal patrons, members of Pune’s hospitality industry, business leaders, artists, musicians and creative professionals for an evening that celebrates the idea that hospitality extends beyond food and service.

The inaugural edition of the initiative has dedicated approximately ₹2.5 lakh to support Suhrud Mandal, a Pune-based organisation working towards the education and holistic development of children with hearing impairments.

At the heart of the celebration is Gather for Good, a fundraising dinner that supports Suhrud Mandal’s efforts to provide education, care and developmental resources that help children with hearing impairments move towards greater independence.

For Gather, the initiative reflects the values on which the restaurant was built. Every dining experience is made possible through the contributions of farmers, artisans, suppliers, collaborators, neighbourhood partners and guests. Through Gather for Good, Together Hospitality aims to acknowledge this shared ecosystem while encouraging the community to support a meaningful local cause.

The event was designed as a voluntary fundraising initiative, allowing guests to contribute directly to Suhrud Mandal’s educational and developmental programmes. Together Hospitality hopes to establish Gather for Good as a long-term tradition that combines generosity, connection and collective impact.

Speaking about the initiative, Karan Khilnani, Founder and CEO of Together Hospitality, said, “Gather was created to be a table for every generation—a place where families and friends could come together over great food and meaningful conversations. Last year, on our first anniversary, we invited our vendors and suppliers to experience the restaurant they help build every day. This year, we wanted to extend that spirit by partnering with Suhrud Mandal and turning our anniversary into an evening of giving. Celebrating two years is meaningful only if we bring our community along with us.”

Vijeta Singh, Co-Founder of Together Hospitality, said, “Hospitality is about making people feel seen and valued. As Together Hospitality grows, so does our responsibility towards the community. Our partnership with Suhrud Mandal is a small but meaningful step in our CSR journey, and we hope to build on this commitment in the years ahead.”

Guests attending the celebration also received an exclusive preview of Gather’s upcoming seasonal menu before its public launch. Curated by Chef Hanoze Shroff, the menu continues the restaurant’s ingredient-first philosophy, highlighting seasonal produce, carefully sourced ingredients and refined flavours inspired by the changing season.

Speaking about the new menu, Chef Partner Hanoze Shroff said, “Two years in, this menu represents the next step in our kitchen’s journey. Over the past few months, we’ve refined our techniques, collaborated with new producers and sourced better ingredients. Some signature dishes remain, while others have evolved, but our intent remains unchanged—to let every plate reflect the quiet work behind our bold flavours.”
With The Next Course and Gather for Good, Together Hospitality hopes to make community service an integral part of every future milestone, transforming Gather’s anniversary celebrations into an enduring tradition of purpose, food and meaningful connection.
