NCP’s Anna Bansode Holds Foot Rally in Pimpri Constituency
Pimpri, 7th November 2024: Anna Bansode, the sitting MLA of Pimpri Constituency and the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) candidate for the upcoming Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Elections, held a foot rally in the Phugewadi and Kundan Nagar areas as part of his campaign. He also engaged in a conversation with the youth of Bharat Nagar Buddha Vihar. During the rally, Bansode promised to develop new metro networks and rehabilitate all slums in the Pimpri Constituency.
Former corporators Sandhya Gaikwad, Mai Kate, Kiran Mote, Sanjay Nana Kate, and Prashant Phuge, along with key figures such as Prof. Manoj Wakhare, Sandeep Belsare, Adv. Atish Landge, Nilesh Hake, Omkar Wakhare, Deepak Shinde, Badshah Bhai Shaikh, Akhtar Shaikh, Yuvraj Gaikwad, Balabhau Dhawab, Aniket Dolas, and Sagar Phuge were also present at the rally.
During the rally, MLA Bansode promised to establish a new Pune Metro network in the Pimpri Constituency. He also pledged to rehabilitate all slums, focusing on providing affordable housing to low-income citizens under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
Bansode said, “We will also make efforts to beautify five railway stations in Pimpri Chinchwad, declare the Dhammachakra Pravartan Mahavihar in Dapodi as a pilgrimage site of international status, and construct an Adhyawat Jyesh Nagrik Bhavan for the Senior Citizens Association.”
The foot rally began with MLA Bansode paying floral tributes at the Vitthal Temple and the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Memorial Statue in Phugewadi. He then proceeded to walk through the Phugewadi area, interacting with the youth after seeking blessings from the elders. Women across the area congratulated him and wished him success.
