Pune, 21 March 2025: Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) is set to operate the “Uttar Bharat Devbhoomi Yatra with Guru Kripa” tour package from Pune, one of its prominent spiritual journeys under the Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train initiative. The train will depart from Pune Railway Station on Monday, 17 April 2025, for a nine-night, ten-day pilgrimage covering key religious and historical sites across North India.

The journey will span approximately 5,000 kilometers, offering tourists a comprehensive spiritual experience. The itinerary includes stops at Haridwar, Rishikesh, Amritsar, Vaishno Devi (Katra), Mathura, Vrindavan, and Agra before returning to Pune. Key sites covered include:

Haridwar: Har Ki Pauri and Ganga Aarti

Amritsar: Golden Temple and Wagah Border

Katra: Mata Vaishno Devi Darshan

Mathura: Krishna Janmabhoomi and Vrindavan

Agra: Taj Mahal

The Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train offers Economy Sleeper, Comfort 3AC, and Comfort 2AC classes, accommodating up to 750 tourists. Boarding and deboarding options are available at Pune, Lonavala, Karjat, Kalyan, Vasai Road, Vapi, Bhestan (Surat), and Vadodara railway stations.

Pricing for the all-inclusive tour package is as follows:

Economy Class (SL): ₹18,230/-

Comfort Class (3AC): ₹33,880/-

Comfort Class (2AC): ₹41,530/-

The package includes a comfortable train journey in AC/Non-AC classes, accommodation in AC/Non-AC budget hotels on double/triple/quad sharing, all meals (vegetarian), transfers and sightseeing in AC/Non-AC vehicles, travel insurance, and services of IRCTC tour managers. Enhanced security measures such as CCTV cameras and security guards are also in place.
