Punekars News Impact : PMC Repairs Damaged Road Connecting Fortune Prospero Society to Punyadham Ashram Road
Pune, 26 October 2026: Residents of Fortune Prospero Housing Society in Kondhwa Budruk have received major relief after the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) repaired the badly damaged road connecting the society to Punyadham Ashram Road, days after Punekars News highlighted the issue.
The road was riddled with large, crater-sized potholes, making daily commutes hazardous for residents of the society, which has nearly 190 flats, as well as those living in neighbouring areas. Residents said they had been following up with the civic body for over a year, but their complaints had gone unanswered.
“PMC officials carried out repairs on the road last week, making it motorable and providing much-needed relief to residents,” a resident said.
The residents expressed their gratitude to Punekars News for highlighting the issue and thanked PMC officials and staff for addressing their concerns. They specifically acknowledged Kondhwa-Undri ward officer Suchita Pansare, junior engineer Sayali Gadade and on-ground staff member Vivek Khandale for ensuring that the repair work was completed.
