Pune: Union Home Minister Amit Shah Addresses Cadets During Visit to NDA Khadakwasla
Khadakwasla, 4th July 2025: Union Home Minister Amit Shah visited the prestigious National Defence Academy (NDA) at Khadakwasla on Friday, where he delivered a powerful and motivational address to the cadets, emphasizing the importance of national security, ethical leadership, and unwavering service to the nation. Earlier, he unveiled a statue of Maratha warrior Bajirao I.
During his interaction, Shah urged the future military leaders to uphold the timeless values of discipline, courage, and strategic foresight. “As the torchbearers of India’s defence forces, your dedication, integrity, and vision will shape the nation’s future,” he told the cadets.
The Home Minister’s visit was marked by an engaging dialogue with the cadets, where he highlighted the role of the armed forces in nation-building and preserving democratic values. He encouraged them to rise to the occasion in the face of evolving global challenges and internal security threats.

The National Defence Academy, located near Pune, is India’s premier tri-services military training institute, producing officers for the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force.
