Pune: Rohini Khadse Meets Police Commissioner Over Alleged Google Drive Misuse Following Husband’s Arrest in Kharadi Rave Party Case
Pune, 30th July 2025: In the wake of the recent arrests made during a high-profile late-night party in Kharadi, political leader Rohini Khadse of the NCP (SP) visited the Pune Police Commissioner’s office on Tuesday. She was accompanied by Advocate Vijaysinh Thombare, following the detention of her husband, Dr. Pranjal Khewalkar, and six others, amid allegations of drug possession and consumption.
During the visit, Advocate Thombare submitted a formal letter to both the Pune Police Commissioner and the Senior Inspector of Kharadi Police Station, raising serious concerns over the alleged unauthorized access and misuse of Dr. Khewalkar’s private Google Drive data. The letter asserts that confidential material, including personal photographs and videos, was accessed and potentially circulated without consent, leading to defamation and emotional distress for Dr. Khewalkar and his family.
A particularly alarming claim in the letter is that a local MLA allegedly obtained the confidential Google Drive link and password while Dr. Khewalkar was in jail. The advocate has demanded that the police investigate how such sensitive digital information came into the possession of an elected representative.
Adv. Thombare emphasized that the situation involves serious violations of digital privacy and has warned that if timely action is not taken, the family will seek legal recourse through the courts.
