Rotary Club of Pune Amanora Bring Smiles to 150 Students with Uniform Distribution at Jyotirao Phule School

Pune, 13th August 2025: As part of the ongoing initiative called “Mission Back to School”, the Rotary Club of Pune Amanora, in collaboration with the Spherule Foundation, successfully distributed two pairs of school uniforms to 150 students from marginalized communities at Mahatma Jyotirao Phule School, Pune. This remarkable event marked one of the largest single-day distributions in the program’s history, bringing immense joy and renewed hope to the students and their families.

The heartfelt occasion was graced by the school’s principal and dedicated teaching staff, whose unwavering commitment to the well-being and education of their students was recognized and deeply appreciated. Their efforts have been instrumental in creating a nurturing environment that empowers every child to pursue their dreams. Principal Sunita Bhosarekar expressed heartfelt gratitude for the continued relationship with the Rotary Club of Pune Amanora and requested further support toward various requirements.

In a significant milestone, the Rotary Club of Pune Amanora also formally “adopted” Mahatma Jyotirao Phule School during the event. The Club pledged to focus on the school’s evolving needs and ensure sustained support for its students and faculty in the coming years.

The outpouring of emotion, including tears of joy from students and Rotary members alike, underscored the profound impact of this initiative. The distribution of uniforms not only alleviates a financial burden for families but also fosters a sense of belonging and dignity among the children.
