Pune: Balewadi Societies to Meet MSEDCL Top Brass Over Electricity Problems This Weekend
Balewadi, 21st August 2025: Residents of Balewadi will soon get a chance to directly address their electricity-related concerns with senior officials of the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL).
Representatives of the Balewadi Welfare Federation (BWF) recently met Nitin Thite, Executive Director, MSEDCL, and Umesh Karpe, Additional Executive Director, MSEDCL, to highlight frequent power outages, voltage fluctuations, and confusion surrounding the implementation of smart meters in housing societies.
Responding to these issues, Thite and Karpe agreed to personally meet with society representatives, along with their technical team, to understand concerns and explain the measures being undertaken by MSEDCL.
The meeting has been scheduled for Saturday, 23 August 2025, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Elite Empire Clubhouse, Dasara Chowk, Balewadi.
BWF has also circulated a Google Form for residents to submit their queries in advance, which will be compiled and shared with the MSEDCL team to ensure a productive discussion.

The Federation has appealed to all member societies to participate in the session and make use of the opportunity to interact directly with MSEDCL officials.
