Koyna Express, Dadar Shirdi Express & Daund Nizamabad Express to Get New Halts From September 3

Pune, 1 September 2025: Central Railway has announced additional halts for major express services at 11 stations across the Pune Division, effective September 3, 2025. The Ministry of Railways approved these halts on an experimental basis to improve passenger convenience.

The new halts will benefit commuters on the Daund-Nizamabad Express, Dadar-Sainagar Shirdi Express, and Koyna Express routes.

Route-wise Details

Daund-Nizamabad Corridor:
The Daund-Nizamabad Express (Train 11409) and Nizamabad-Daund Express (Train 11410) will now stop at nine additional stations. These include Kashti, Belvandi, Ranjangaon Road, Sarola, Akolner, Vilad, Vambori, Padhegaon, and Chitali.

For the Daund-bound service, halt timings range from 12:30 hrs at Chitali to 15:59 hrs at Kashti. The Nizamabad-bound service will stop between 17:14 hrs at Kashti and 20:14 hrs at Chitali.

Other Routes:
The Dadar-Sainagar Shirdi Express via DDCC will halt at Rahuri at 06:59 hrs in the morning service, while the return service will stop at 22:29 hrs.

The Koyna Express between CSMT and Kolhapur will include a new halt at Valivade station at 19:44 hrs southbound and 08:34 hrs northbound.

Implementation:

All additional halts will commence operations from September 3, 2025. Passengers can access detailed timing information through the Indian Railways enquiry website at www.enquiry.indianrail.gov.in or by downloading the NTES mobile application.

The experimental nature of these halts suggests that their continuation will depend on passenger response and operational feasibility.
