Pune Celebrates PM Modi’s 75th Birthday with Spectacular 1,000-Drone Show
Sadashiv Peth, 17th September 2025: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday was marked in Pune with a spectacular and unique tribute as 1,000 drones lit up the night sky at S.P. College grounds, narrating the story of India’s progress under his leadership.
The event, organized as part of the nationwide Seva Pakhwada celebrations, was hosted by Union Minister of State Murlidhar Mohol. Thousands of Punekars gathered to witness the breathtaking show, which combined technology and artistry to showcase key decisions and milestones from Modi’s 11 years as Prime Minister.
Themed “Jyotine Tejachi Aarti”, the 25-minute 3D drone show displayed not only the achievements of the Modi government but also social, cultural, and historical landmarks of Pune, blending local pride with national aspirations.
This was the first drone show of its kind in Maharashtra, following similar grand celebrations in Ayodhya and Varanasi. The synchronized drones illustrated the Prime Minister’s vision of a Viksit Bharat (Developed India), leaving the audience both inspired and awestruck.
