IMD Forecasts Cloudy Skies, Light Rain and Thunderstorms in Pune Till October 27

Pune, 21st October 2025: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted generally cloudy skies and intermittent light rainfall across Pune district over the next six days, with occasional thunderstorms and lightning likely in some areas.

According to the latest IMD bulletin, very light rain accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning is expected on October 22 (Wednesday). The city will continue to experience generally cloudy weather through the week, with light rain likely from October 23 to October 27.

Weather officials have advised citizens to stay alert during thunderstorms and avoid open spaces or metal structures during lightning activity.
The extended cloudy spell may bring a slight dip in daytime temperatures, offering relief from the warm post-Diwali conditions that prevailed over the last few days.
