Pune: One Lane of Paud Phata Flyover Closed for Repairs from October 27 to November 26
Kothrud, 27th October 2025: The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has announced that one lane of the Swatantryaveer Vinayak Damodar Savarkar Flyover at Paud Phata — on the stretch from Nalstop towards Kothrud — will remain closed for repair work from October 27 to November 26, 2025.
According to Chief Engineer (Projects) Dinkar Gaikwad, the closure is essential to carry out structural repair and maintenance work to ensure the flyover’s safety and longevity.
During the repair period, the remaining lane will remain open for the movement of two-wheelers and light motor vehicles (LMVs). The PMC has advised heavy vehicle drivers traveling from Nalstop towards Kothrud to take alternate routes to avoid congestion.
The civic body has appealed to citizens to cooperate and plan their travel accordingly. Officials expressed regret for the inconvenience caused and emphasized that the temporary closure is necessary for long-term road safety and smoother traffic movement.
