Candidates Urged Not to Believe Rumours About Upcoming TET Exam: Anuradha Oak
Pune, 6th November 2025: Maharashtra State Council of Examinations (MSCE) Commissioner Anuradha Oak has appealed to candidates not to believe misleading information or rumours circulating on social media and YouTube channels regarding the upcoming Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) scheduled for Sunday, November 23, 2025.
Oak clarified that several unofficial platforms have been spreading false or confusing claims about the examination process, leading to unnecessary panic among candidates. She urged aspirants to rely only on official notifications released by the Council.
“Candidates should follow updates published exclusively on the official websites – www.mscepune.in
– and www.mahatet.in
. Any loss caused due to reliance on false or misleading information from unauthorised sources will be the sole responsibility of the candidate,” Oak stated.
The MSCE has also warned that it takes misinformation seriously and may initiate legal action against those spreading false news that could disrupt the examination process.
