Pune: Voter Registration for ‘Teachers and Graduates’ Constituencies Extended Till December 10
Pune, 11th November 2025: In a significant relief for prospective voters, the deadline to register for the ‘Teachers and Graduates’ constituencies has been pushed to December 10, giving eligible applicants additional time to enroll. The Election Commission of India (ECI) confirmed that applications received during this extended period will undergo scrutiny and, if approved, be incorporated into the final electoral roll scheduled for publication on December 30.
Draft Rolls to Be Released on November 25
The ECI has already begun revising the electoral rolls for next year’s biennial elections in multiple segments: Graduates’ constituencies in Pune, Nagpur, and Aurangabad, and Teachers’ constituencies in Pune and Amravati divisions. The earlier deadline for registration was November 6, and all applications submitted by that date will form the basis of the draft electoral roll, which will be issued on November 25.
Despite the draft being prepared solely from the pre–November 6 applications, authorities have permitted the registration window to remain open until December 10, allowing more citizens to apply before the final list is compiled.
Eligibility Scrutiny Before Final Roll
Every application received during the extension will be verified, and acceptance or rejection decisions will be concluded prior to releasing the final electoral roll on December 30.
How to Apply for Inclusion in the Electoral Roll

* Eligible Teachers must submit Form 19
After the draft list is published, applicants can raise claims and objections until December 10.
To simplify the process, the district administration has enabled online registration. Citizens can submit their forms and documents through the State Election Commission’s portal https://mahaelection.gov.in/Citizen/Login
