The Cabinet observed two minutes of silence in memory of the victims and passed a resolution condemning the “heinous terror incident” and reaffirming India’s zero-tolerance policy towards terrorism.
In its resolution, the Cabinet described the attack as a “dastardly and cowardly act” carried out by anti-national forces that resulted in multiple fatalities and injuries. The Cabinet extended its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and wished a speedy recovery for all those injured.
The statement also commended the swift response of medical teams, security personnel, and emergency services who provided immediate aid at the site. “The Cabinet appreciates the prompt efforts of medical personnel and emergency responders who have been providing care and support to the victims,” the resolution stated.

Directing a time-bound investigation, the Cabinet instructed security agencies to identify and bring to justice the perpetrators, their collaborators, and their sponsors “with the utmost urgency and professionalism.”
