PYC Warriors, Poona Club Kings and Magicians Secure Second Consecutive Wins in Pune Cue Sports Premier League
Pune, 12th November 2025: PYC Hindu Gymkhana Warriors, Poona Club Kings and Poona Club Magicians teams defeated their opponents and won their second consecutive victory in the ‘Pune Cue Sports Premier League’ Inter Club Snooker Tournament organized by Royal Connaught Boat Club (RCBC).
The matches of the tournament were held at the Royal Connaught Boat Club (RCBC), Poona Club, PYC Hindu Gymkhana and Deccan Gymkhana Club Snooker Hall on a ‘home’ and ‘away’ basis. PYC Warriors easily defeated Poona Club Cue Mafia 3-0. In singles matches, Nimish Kulkarni defeated Sunil Ashar 95-86, while Rajvardhan Joshi defeated Krish Ragani 61-40. In doubles, Aditya Deshpande and Anand Apte defeated Aniket Sanghvi and Ashraf Parwani 67-33.
RCBC Rockets opened their points account by defeating Deccan Gymkhana Monsters 3-1. RCBC’s Vedant Doshi defeated Sunil Algude 101-90. In the second singles, Vedant defeated Vitthal Dhamale 78-69 by 9 points. In doubles, Akash Bhatia and Zaheer Lokhandwala defeated Yash Deshpande and Srivastava Shevde 63-55.
In the Group B match, Poona Club Magicians defeated PYC Giants 3-1. The victories of Suraj Rathi and Vignesh Sanghvi were important in the team’s victory. In singles, Suraj Rathi defeated Ashok Shetty 92-52 and Arun Barve 87-47. Vignesh Sanghvi easily defeated Vishal Malhotra 57-18.
On the winning performance of Farrokh Mody, Girish Damle, Pankaj Parmar and Kunal Vaswani, Poona Club Kings easily defeated RCBC Dominants 3-0 and advanced.
