Pune: Three Gold Medals Lead ASI’s Outstanding Performance at Boxing World Cup
Koregaon Park, 25th November 2025: The Army Sports Institute (ASI), Pune delivered an exceptional performance at the World Boxing Cup 2025 held in New Delhi from 14– 20 November 2025, reaffirming its position as a premier centre for elite sporting excellence.
All nine ASI boxers who participated in the competition finished on the podium, registering an extraordinary hundred per cent medal- conversion rate. The contingent secured a total of three Gold, four Silver and two Bronze medals, bringing immense pride to the Indian Army and the nation.
The Gold medals were secured by Hav Arundhati in the 70-kilogram category, Nb Sub Jaismine in the 57-kilogram category, and Hav Sachin in the 60-kilogram category. The silver and bronze medallists too displayed exemplary discipline, unwavering fighting spirit, and a strong commitment to excellence for achieving a clean sweep of the medal tally.
ASI’s remarkable medal sweep is a testament to its world-class training ecosystem, scientific athlete management, and the dedicated efforts of its coaches, support staff and soldiers.
