Pune, 30th November 2025: The National Defence Academy (NDA), Khadakwasla, celebrated the completion of training for its 149th Course with a grand Passing Out Parade at the historic Khetarpal Parade Ground on Sunday. The cadets showcased flawless marching skills and military precision, drawing applause from parents, dignitaries, veterans, school students and civilians who gathered in large numbers for the ceremony.
Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi reviewed the parade as the chief guest for the Autumn Term. The formations were led by Academy Cadet Captain Siddharth Singh from Oscar Squadron, dressed in Blue Patrol and commanding the contingents through their synchronised movements. Maj Avinash Pandey, the Adjutant, oversaw the proceedings while riding his ceremonial mount.

A total of 1,250 cadets took part in the parade, including 329 who are now set to graduate and move to their respective pre-commission training establishments across the Army, Navy and Air Force. The parade reached an emotional peak as the outgoing batch crossed the ‘Antim Pag,’ symbolising their transition from cadets to future officers, while the notes of ‘Auld Lang Syne’ played in the background.
