Pune, 12th December 2025: The Rotary Club of Pune Kharadi (RCPK) organised an educational industrial visit for students of The Kalyani School and The Eon Gyanankur School at Ashtavinayak Packaging Pvt. Ltd. on December 10, 2025. The initiative, aimed at strengthening experiential learning, introduced students to the workings of the offset paper packaging industry and familiarised them with real-world manufacturing systems.

According to RCPK, the visit was designed to help students understand how classroom concepts translate into practical applications. During the guided tour, the students observed the complete box-manufacturing process—from raw paper to finished cartons—and witnessed live demonstrations of machinery used for corrugation, printing, slotting, folding and gluing.

Students also received insights into the facility’s quality control processes and sustainability measures, including recycling and waste-management practices. A hands-on activity, where students assembled their own gift boxes, emerged as a key highlight, blending creativity with technical learning.

The interaction concluded with a question-and-answer session, during which students expressed curiosity about materials, automation and the role of packaging in logistics and supply chains. School staff said the engagement offered valuable exposure to modern industrial operations.

RCPK thanked Ashtavinayak Packaging Pvt. Ltd. for hosting the visit and acknowledged the support extended to both schools. The club said it will continue to organise similar industry-connect programmes to inspire and guide young learners.
