Pune: 12 Trains Cancelled Between January 4 and 25 on Pune–Solapur, Daund Routes Due to Doubling Work
Pune, 4th January 2026: Central Railway’s Pune Division has announced the cancellation of 12 passenger and DEMU train services between January 4 and January 25, 2026, due to Pre-Non Interlocking (Pre-NI) and Non-Interlocking (NI) works for the commissioning of the doubling project between Daund and Kashti stations on the Daund–Manmad section.
According to the press release, two DEMU special trains—Train No. 01461 Solapur–Daund DEMU Special and Train No. 01462 Daund–Solapur DEMU Special—will remain cancelled daily from January 4 to January 25, 2026.
In addition, ten more trains operating on the Pune–Solapur and Pune–Daund sections will be cancelled for varying periods between January 14/15 and January 25, 2026. These include key express and DEMU services connecting Pune, Solapur, and Daund.
The cancelled services include Train Nos. 12169 Pune–Solapur Express and 12170 Solapur–Pune Express, which will not operate from January 15 to January 25, 2026, and Train Nos. 12157 Pune–Solapur Express and 12158 Solapur–Pune Express, cancelled from January 19 to January 25, 2026.
DEMU services affected during the block period include Train Nos. 11417 Pune–Solapur DEMU (cancelled from January 14 to January 25), 11418 Solapur–Pune DEMU (January 15 to January 25), and Pune–Daund DEMU services Train Nos. 71401, 71407 and Daund–Pune DEMU services Train Nos. 71402, 71408, all cancelled from January 15 to January 25, 2026.
The cancellations are part of the traffic management plan during infrastructure work aimed at commissioning the doubling between Daund and Kashti, impacting passenger services across the Pune–Solapur and Pune–Daund corridors during the scheduled block period.
