Ward 36 Elections: Aba Bagul Promises Comprehensive Development with 300-Bed Hospital, New Schools, Slum Redevelopment, Engineering College
Pune, 12th January 2026: Shiv Sena’s official candidate from Ward No. 36 Sahakarnagar–Padmavati, Aba Bagul, on Sunday said that the party’s manifesto for the ward focuses on comprehensive development and will serve as a clear roadmap to ensure quality civic amenities for residents.
Addressing citizens, Bagul said the manifesto covers key sectors including healthcare, education, water supply, roads and traffic management, with the aim of improving overall living standards in the ward. He expressed confidence that the proposed development plan would provide long-term direction and tangible benefits to local residents.
Bagul said the development vision for Ward No. 36 is not limited to basic infrastructure but is designed to address broader civic needs. He added that Shiv Sena chief leader and Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has assured substantial funding through the Urban Development Department to implement the proposed projects. According to Bagul, Shinde has personally committed to monitoring the execution of these initiatives.
As part of the proposed development plan, Bagul said priority would be given to strengthening healthcare services by establishing a 300-bed multi-speciality hospital in the ward. To enhance educational facilities, he proposed setting up new schools on the lines of the Rajiv Gandhi e-learning school model, along with the development of a state-of-the-art engineering college.
Bagul also highlighted housing and rehabilitation as key focus areas. He said slum dwellers would be provided rightful homes through self-redevelopment projects as part of efforts to make the ward and city slum-free. He further stated that the stay granted to the SRA project in Shahu Vasahat would be retained, allowing residents there the option of self-redevelopment.
Stating that these projects are aimed at public welfare, Bagul said he is committed to ensuring their effective implementation. He appealed to voters to extend strong support to Shiv Sena in order to realise the vision of all-round development for Ward No. 36.
