Pune News: Election Officials Review Arrangements at Hadapsar Voting Booths
Hadapsar, 14th January 2026: As per the orders of the Maharashtra State Election Commission, the election programme for the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) General Elections 2025–26 has been officially announced. With polling preparations underway, civic authorities have intensified inspections of polling infrastructure across the city.
Additional Municipal Commissioner (General) Pavneet Kaur on Wednesday conducted an inspection of polling stations located in the Hadapsar division to review readiness ahead of voting day. She visited Krantiveer Vasudev Balwant Phadke School at Bhairoba Nala, where four polling booths have been set up.
During the visit, Pavneet Kaur interacted with polling station presidents and polling officers, holding discussions on preparations for the upcoming polling. She reviewed arrangements for orderly voter queues and verified the availability of essential facilities, including drinking water and sanitation amenities, at the polling centres.
The inspection aimed to ensure a smooth, voter-friendly, and well-managed polling process for the Pune Municipal Corporation elections, with a focus on basic facilities and overall preparedness at the ground level.
