Infosys and Bosch teams dominated opening day of Second ‘TRPS Corporate Cup’ T20 Cricket 2026 Tournament
Pune, 4th February 2026: Defending champions Infosys and Bosch teams dominated the opening day by defeating their respective opponents in the second ‘TRPS Corporate Cup’ T20 cricket tournament organized by TRPS Management.
In the tournament, which started at the Four Star Cricket Ground in Hinjewadi, defending champions Infosys made a spectacular start by easily defeating Wipro Technologies by 210 runs, thanks to Sandeep Sanghai’s knock of 101 runs. Batting first, the Infosys team piled up a massive score of 310 runs in 20 overs. Sandeep Sanghai scored 101 runs off 39 balls, including 6 fours and 10 sixes. Besides him, Sagar Birwade scored 83 runs and Ashay Palkar scored 51 runs. Sandeep and Sanghai laid the foundation for a big score with a 173-run opening partnership off 66 balls. Then Ashay Palkar played an explosive innings, taking the team’s score past the 300-run mark. While chasing this target, Wipro Technologies’ innings ended at 100 runs. Ashay Palkar, Nikhil Rokade, and Harshad Tidke took two wickets each, making the team’s victory easy.
In the second match, thanks to Tushar Vaingankar’s all-round performance, the Bosch team easily defeated Synechron Technologies by 44 runs and registered a winning start. Batting first, the Bosch team scored 181 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 20 overs. Tushar Vaingankar played an innings of 74 runs off 53 balls, including 10 fours and 1 six. On the other side, Kunal Keswani (33 runs) and Dundi Nagothi (46 runs) supported Tushar. Tushar and Dundi forged a 101-run partnership off 52 balls for the third wicket, giving shape to the team’s innings. While chasing this target, Cinecron Technologies’ innings ended at 137 runs. Ajay Pasalkar offered some resistance with an innings of 46 runs. Jaimin Archay and Tushar Vaingankar took two wickets each, securing the team’s victory.
Earlier, the tournament was inaugurated by Lion Vasantbhau Kokane of Lions Club of Pune Rahatni, President Lions Mahesh Panchal, Lions Dhanraj Mangnani, and Siddharth Kumar, General Manager and Regional Head of IDBI Bank. Sunny Garewal of Garewal Diaries, Atul More of Atul Tutorials, and other dignitaries were present on the occasion. The program was compered by Pranaya Bandivadekar.
