Pune Crime Branch Raids Hadapsar Spa; Three Women Rescued in Anti-Trafficking Operation

Pune, 13th February 2026: The Anti-Human Trafficking Cell (AHTC) of the Pune City Crime Branch has dismantled an alleged prostitution racket operating from a spa in Hadapsar, rescuing three women and arresting the facility’s manager during a coordinated raid.

The action followed specific intelligence inputs regarding suspected illegal activities at White Pearl Spa, situated on the second floor of Dashmesh Complex near Pranay Hotel along Pune–Solapur Road. Officials conducted preliminary verification through a decoy customer before executing the raid.

During the operation, police apprehended Saurabh Shamrao Ingale (28), a resident of Kalepadal in Hadapsar, who was working as the spa manager. Authorities stated that the spa owner is also under investigation for allegedly facilitating the arrival of women at the premises and compelling them into sex work.

Three women identified as victims were safely rescued from the location and are being provided necessary assistance as per procedure.

A case has been registered at Hadapsar Police Station (Crime Register No. 105/2026) under Sections 143(1)(3) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, along with Sections 3, 4, and 5 of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1956.

The raid was conducted under the supervision of Pune Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar, Joint Commissioner Ranjankumar Sharma, and Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime) Pankaj Deshmukh.

The operational team included Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) Nikhil Pingale, Assistant Commissioner of Police (Crime-3) Shankar Khatke, Police Inspector Chhagan Kapse, Police Sub-Inspector Vishant Chavan, and other Crime Branch officials.

Police said further investigation is underway to ascertain the extent of the network and identify any additional individuals connected to the alleged trafficking operation.
