Pune Records Warmer Nights as Minimum Temperature Crosses 20°C
Pune, 17th February 2026: The city is witnessing warmer nights, signalling an early onset of the summer season. On Tuesday, February 17, several parts of Pune recorded minimum temperatures touching 20°C, while areas such as and saw the mercury cross the 20°C mark.
This is the first time since the end of winter that night temperatures have risen to such levels.
In Shivajinagar, the minimum temperature increased sharply within 24 hours, rising from 14.8°C on February 16 to 18.4°C on February 17 — a jump of nearly 4 degrees.
The weather forecast indicates dry conditions in the coming days, which are likely to keep temperatures on the higher side. Localities including Hadapsar, Wadgaon Sheri, and Chinchwad are expected to record minimum temperatures at or above 20°C over the next few days.
