Gultekdi, 21st February 2026: Tension gripped Gultekdi in Pune late Friday night after a minor allegedly opened fire, police said. The incident occurred around 10 pm.
A case has been registered and a search operation is underway to trace the accused, who remains absconding.
According to preliminary information, the suspect is a minor with a criminal background. No injuries were reported.
Investigators said two to three rounds were fired, triggering panic among residents. Initial findings suggest the firing was intended to create fear following a dispute between two groups.
