SpiceJet and IndiGo Cancel Pune–Dubai Flights on March 1
Pune, 1st March 2026: Several international flights connecting Pune and Dubai were cancelled on Saturday, March 1, 2026, amid continued disruption to air traffic in the Gulf region. Pune Airport Director Santosh Dhoke confirmed that both departure and arrival services on the Pune–Dubai sector were affected.
According to airport authorities, SpiceJet flight SG 51 from Pune to Dubai, scheduled to depart at 8.30 pm, was cancelled. The return flight SG 52 from Dubai to Pune, which was expected to arrive at 4.55 am on March 2, was also cancelled.
IndiGo flights 6E 1484 and 6E 1483 operating on the Dubai–Pune–Dubai route were similarly cancelled. The Dubai–Pune flight, scheduled to arrive at 10.30 pm, and the Pune–Dubai flight, scheduled to depart at 12.30 am on March 2, did not operate.
Airport officials said passengers affected by the cancellations have been duly informed by the respective airlines. Travellers have been advised to remain in contact with airlines for further updates regarding rescheduling or alternative arrangements.
The cancellations come in the backdrop of ongoing airspace restrictions and heightened security concerns in the Middle East, which continue to impact international flight operations.
