Pune to Khatu Shyam and Mahakal: Bharat Gaurav Train to Cover Udaipur, Pushkar in 12-Day Spiritual Tour
Pune, 5th March 2026: Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation has announced an 11-night, 12-day rail tour package titled “Divine Rajasthan with Ujjain Yatra” under the Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train initiative, offering travellers a circuit covering major spiritual and heritage destinations including Khatu Shyam Ji Temple, Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga, Udaipur and Pushkar.
The special tourist train will depart from Solapur on March 27, with boarding facilities at major stations including Pune, Lonavala, Kalyan, Vasai Road and Surat.
According to IRCTC officials, the itinerary includes visits to key religious and cultural destinations across Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. The journey will cover the lakes and palaces of Udaipur, the shrine of Shrinathji Temple Nathdwara, the pilgrimage town of Pushkar, and the historic cities of Jodhpur and Jaipur. The tour also includes darshan at Khatu Shyam Ji Temple and the Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga in Ujjain.
The tourist train has a capacity of around 750 passengers and will offer three accommodation categories. The Economy Class (Sleeper) package is priced at ₹19,900 per person, Standard Class (3AC) at ₹31,920 per person, and Comfort Class (2AC) at ₹41,840 per person.
IRCTC stated that the tour package includes train travel, vegetarian meals, hotel accommodation, sightseeing by buses, tour escorts and travel insurance for passengers during the journey.
The rail tourism package is part of IRCTC’s themed travel initiatives under the Government of India programmes Dekho Apna Desh and Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat aimed at promoting domestic tourism and cultural travel across the country.
Bookings for the tour are available through the official IRCTC tourism website and authorised tourist facilitation centres.
