The event saw significant participation from both local representatives and municipal officials. Notable attendees included PMC members Kaka Chavan, Subhash Nanekar, Anita Ingale, and Dhanashree Kolhe. Narsingh Lagad, Dattatray Dedge, the former Sarpanch of Nanded Village, and Dhumal, along with office bearers from various Nanded City housing societies. Approximately 175 society members participated in the session to raise their concerns.
During the campaign, Deputy Commissioner Ravi Pawar personally addressed the doubts raised by residents. He officially recorded several complaints and provided assurances that all property tax issues would be resolved promptly. Furthermore, he noted that broader policy-level matters regarding the tax structure would be discussed with the Municipal Commissioner and the General Body for further clarity and action.
The Property Tax Department expressed its intention to expand this initiative. Similar “Administration at Your Doorstep” campaigns are planned for other parts of the city to increase public awareness and provide convenient grievance redressal for all taxpayers.
The residents and society members of Nanded City welcomed the initiative, expressing their gratitude to the PMC administration for bringing municipal services directly to their locality.
