Pune, 9th March 2026: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), Pune unit, has registered a case against a Police Sub-Inspector (PSI) stationed at the Bundgarden Police Station for allegedly demanding a bribe of ₹2,00,000 to settle a fraud investigation.
The accused has been identified as Sandeep Khedkar (40), a Class-2 officer currently serving at the Bundgarden Police Station, Pune City.
According to the ACB, the complainant (a 40-year-old male) was facing an inquiry regarding a fraud application filed against him at the Bundgarden Police Station. PSI Khedkar, who was the investigating officer for the matter, allegedly demanded ₹2,00,000 from the complainant to ensure that no criminal case was registered against him.
