4th Edition of The Poona Club Swimming League 2026 from 9th – 11th April 2026
Pune, 8th April 2026: The Poona Club proudly announces the 4th Edition of the Poona Club Swimming League (PCSL) 2026, set to take place at the Club’s premier swimming facility from 9th to 11th April 2026.
Addressing the media, Mr. Gaurav Gadhoke, Hon. President of The Poona Club Ltd. & Swimming Pool Secretary, shared that the swimmers were selected through a dynamic notional auction conducted by team owners, all esteemed members of the Club. The auction was attended by Sponsor Mr. Amit Roplekar, along with team owners and players, setting the tone for a highly competitive league.

Speaking on the league format, Mr. Tushar Aswani, Sports Chairman of The Poona Club Ltd. & Tournament Director, emphasized the highly competitive structure of the tournament. The eight teams have been divided into two groups of four through a lucky draw. The top six teams, based on the points system, will advance to the knockout stages, culminating in the Grand Finals on Saturday, 11th April 2026.
Mr. Aswani further added, “The Poona Club Swimming League continues to be one of the fastest-growing sporting initiatives within the Club. We are excited to elevate the scale, energy, and competitive spirit of the league with every edition.”
The league has witnessed an overwhelming response, with 135 participants comprising men, women, and children, ranging from 6 to 75 years of age. This year, male and female categories will compete separately, enhancing the competitive framework.
A total of 120 events will be conducted across three days, featuring Freestyle, Breaststroke, Backstroke (20m & 40m), and Relay formats, promising thrilling action in the pool.
To ensure seamless execution, a dedicated organizing committee has been constituted under the leadership of:
