Deccan A, Nahata and Rahul Singh Basketball Academy Storm into Semifinals at the Deccan Elite Cup Basketball Tournament 2026
Pune, 10th April 2026: Deccan Gymkhana A, Nahata and Rahul Singh Basketball Academy entered into semifinal round of the boys group at the Deccan Elite Cup Basketball Tournament 2026 being organised by Deccan Gymkhana and played at the Basketball Court
In the Boys’ Quarterfinals, Deccan A registered a convincing 65-42 victory over SSBA. Abhinav Karmarkar led the charge with 16 points, while Aryan Prajapati and Ansh Bhatia chipped in with 11 points each. Shlok Nimbalkar was the lone bright spot for SSBA with 12 points. Deccan A maintained control early, leading 25-17 at halftime.
Rahul Singh Basketball Academy cruised past Sharpshooter with a 50-25 win. Ankit Musib starred with 16 points, ensuring a comfortable outing after a 24-15 lead at the break. Pradyumna Nair scored 12 points for Sharpshooter.
In another dominant display, Nahata outclassed CBC 64-30. Aaradhya Bhavsar top-scored with an impressive 20 points, while Amey Darwatkar added 15. Nahata took charge early, leading 20-11 at halftime. Anvita Mathur scored 8 points for CBC.
Earlier in the Group League matches, ABC thrashed Vidya Valley 60-16, with Daksh Sharma contributing 16 points. Nahata continued their strong form with a 48-6 win over Sharpshooter, powered by Sharvil Hublikar’s 15 points.
In another encounter, Dastur defeated Vidya Valley 42-16. Ariana Shinde led the scoring with 11 points, while Tejaswini Jadhav managed 6 points for the losing side.
