TCS Nashik Row: Tata Sons Chairman N Chandrasekaran Orders Probe, Assures Strict Action
Mumbai, 13th April 2026: Natarajan Chandrasekaran, Chairman of Tata Sons, has issued a statement expressing serious concern over complaints and allegations emerging from the Nashik branch of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), assuring strict action and a thorough investigation into the matter.
In his statement, Chandrasekaran described the developments as “gravely concerning and anguishing,” underlining that the incident is being treated with the utmost seriousness by the Tata Group. He confirmed that action has already been initiated against the accused employees, and that the company is fully cooperating with the ongoing investigation.
Reiterating the group’s stance, he said the Tata Group follows a zero-tolerance policy towards any form of coercion or misconduct by its employees. A comprehensive probe is currently underway to establish the facts and identify all individuals responsible.
The investigation will be led by Aarthi Subramanian, Chief Operating Officer at TCS. The company has stated that appropriate and stringent action will be taken against those found guilty.
Chandrasekaran also noted that any necessary process improvements or corrective measures identified during the investigation will be promptly implemented and strictly enforced, signalling a focus on both accountability and systemic reform.
