Priti Agarwal Takes Charge as Postmaster General of Pune Region
Pune, 25th April 2026: Senior Indian Postal Service officer Priti Agarwal has taken charge as the Postmaster General of Pune Region.
A 2003-batch IPoS officer, Agarwal brings over two decades of experience in the Department of Posts. She has previously served in key positions including Senior Superintendent of Post Offices in Lucknow, Assistant Postmaster General, Director Postal Services, Joint Director at Rafi Ahmed Kidwai National Postal Academy, and Postmaster General of Indore and Vadodara regions.
She holds degrees in Science and Arts from Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur, and has also qualified the NET-JRF examination.
During her career, she has contributed to major initiatives such as Project Arrow, Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana account drives and rollout of Core Banking Solutions. She has received several honours including the Dak Seva Award, Excellence Award and Best Performer Award.
Officials said her appointment is expected to boost efficiency, modernisation and customer-focused postal services in the Pune region.
