Vande Bharat Derailment: Pune–Mumbai Trains Rescheduled, Multiple Services Delayed
Pune, 28th April 2026: Train operations at Pune Railway Station remained affected on Tuesday following the derailment of the Vande Bharat Express 22225 CSMT–Solapur, with several key services rescheduled and running behind time.
According to railway updates, Train No. 12126 Pragati Express from Pune to CSMT, originally scheduled to depart at 07:45 hrs, has been rescheduled to leave at 10:00 hrs on April 28.
Similarly, Train No. 12124 Deccan Queen Express, scheduled departure at 07:15 hrs from Pune, will now depart at 09:30 hrs.
Train No. 11010 Sinhagad Express continues to remain stationed at Platform No. 6 of Pune Railway Station.
Long-distance services have also been impacted. The 17142 Mahalaxmi Express is running approximately five hours late, while the 11028 Satara–Dadar Express is delayed by around six hours.
The 22731 Mumbai Superfast Express is also operating with a delay of about one and a half hours.
Railway authorities have advised passengers to check the latest train schedules and updates through official railway channels before commencing their journey.
