Pimpri Chinchwad, 19th May 2026 : Protests over the alleged NEET-UG 2026 paper leak intensified in Pimpri-Chinchwad after activists of the Sambhaji Brigade vandalised the signboard of RCC Classes, owned by Shivaji Motegaonkar in protest against alleged corruption in the education system.

The agitation was led by Sambhaji Brigade city president Satish Kale, along with other office-bearers and activists, who raised slogans demanding strict action against those involved in the paper leak case.

The protest comes after the Central Bureau of Investigation arrested Prof Shivraj Motegaonkar, founder of RCC Classes, in connection with the alleged NEET-UG 2026 paper leak case. Motegaonkar, known for his association with the “Latur Pattern” coaching model, headed one of Maharashtra’s prominent coaching institutes.

Following his arrest, anger has been growing among students and parents across the state. During the protest, activists damaged RCC-related display boards outside one of their coaching institute in Pimpri Chinchwad and accused education “mafias” of destroying students’ futures through examination malpractice.

“Lakhs of students prepare honestly for competitive examinations, but some people are ruining their future through paper leaks and corruption driven by money power,” Kale said during the protest.

Activists also raised slogans such as “No forgiveness for those playing with students’ futures” and demanded stringent action against those responsible.

The protesters urged both the Centre and the state government to conduct a thorough investigation into the case, stating that repeated irregularities in national-level examinations such as NEET were weakening students’ trust in the education system.

Meanwhile, sources said the CBI investigation has reportedly uncovered some important leads linked to RCC Classes. Investigating agencies have conducted searches at premises associated with Motegaonkar and are said to have seized several digital devices and documents as part of the probe.
