Pune, 20th May 2026: The troubles of coaching institute operator Shivraj Motegaonkar, arrested in the alleged NEET-UG paper leak case, deepened further after the Pune Municipal Corporation initiated demolition and sealing action against properties linked to his RCC Classes in the city.

The civic action comes amid the ongoing CBI investigation into the alleged examination paper leak case, in which Motegaonkar was arrested last week.

According to PMC officials, properties linked to Motegaonkar had pending property tax dues of nearly Rs 3.20 crore. After repeated notices and failure to clear the dues, the civic administration initiated action against the premises.

Following the CBI arrest, PMC officials sealed RCC coaching class premises in Pune associated with Motegaonkar, whose institute has come under scrutiny in the NEET-UG paper leak investigation.

Officials from the PMC building department also sealed a shop located on the first floor of Borawake Building on JM Road, alleging that coaching classes were being operated there without the necessary permissions.

Civic officials said notices had earlier been issued to the property occupants, but the alleged violations were not rectified, prompting stricter action.

During inspection, PMC teams also found alleged unauthorised alterations in the parking area and construction carried out without civic approval inside the building. Following this, demolition action using bulldozers was initiated at parts of the premises.

PMC officials said inspections of other properties linked to the institute are also underway and warned that further action would be taken if violations of civic rules are found.
