409 entries for First Edition of Sharda District Ranking Table Tennis Tournament 2026
Pune, 25th May 2026: A total 409 entries have been confirmed for First Edition of Sharda District Ranking Table Tennis Tournament 2026 which will be organized by Sharda Sports Center under the auspices of Pune District Table Tennis Association, to be played at Sharda Sports Center Table Tennis Hall from 26th to 31st May 2026.
Mr. Ashish Bodas, Tournament Secretary said that,” “We have received an overwhelming response from players for the inaugural district ranking tournament. The participation of 409 players across various age groups reflects the growing popularity of table tennis in the district. The main objective behind organising this tournament is to provide a quality platform for budding players and further promote the sport of table tennis in Pune.”
Top ranked table tennis players including Sharanya Patwardhan, Naksh Mahajan, Spruha Gujar, Saee Kulkarni, Neeraj Nandede, Diya Shinde, Aryan Wankhede , Swarada Sane ,Shreyash Mankeshwar, Shouren Soman, Ruchita
Darwatkar, Pranav Gholkar, Rohinton Todiwala ,Ishan Khandekar, Kaustubh Girgaonkar, Jay Pendse will be seen in the action.
The event will offer total prize money of Rs.1,13,500/-. The winners, runners, semi-finalist & quarter finalists will be given cash awards for all the categories. The tournament will see players participating in Boys and Girls under 11, 13, 15, 19, Mens Open, Women’s Open, Mens Doubles, Men 40plus, 60 Plus and Veteran Doubles, Boys under 15doubles he added.
