Pune Postal Dak Adalat to Be Held on June 17 for Grievance Redressal
Pune, 9th June 2026: Residents facing unresolved issues related to postal services in western parts of Pune will have an opportunity to raise their grievances at a Postal Dak Adalat scheduled to be held on June 17.
According to Nitin S. Yeola, Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Pune City West Division, the Divisional-level Postal Dak Adalat will be conducted at 3:30 pm on June 17, 2026, at the office of the Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Lokmanya Nagar, Pune.
The forum has been organized to address complaints and grievances related to postal services provided by post offices operating under the Pune City West Division. The areas covered include Katraj-Dhankwadi, Sinhagad Road, Pune City, Ganeshkhind, Deccan Gymkhana, Kothrud, Ambegaon, Bavdhan and surrounding localities.
Yeola stated that only complaints relating to postal services that have remained unresolved for more than six weeks will be considered during the Dak Adalat. Complainants are required to submit a written application containing complete details of the grievance and relevant supporting information. Only one complaint per applicant will be entertained.
“Complaints that have already been discussed and decided in previous Postal Dak Adalats will not be taken up again,” Yeola said.
Citizens wishing to participate have been asked to submit their complaints to the Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Pune City West Division, Lokmanya Nagar, Pune-411030, on or before June 15, 2026. Complaints received after the deadline will not be considered for the upcoming Dak Adalat.
The Postal Dak Adalat serves as a grievance redressal mechanism aimed at resolving public complaints related to postal services and improving customer satisfaction through direct interaction with postal authorities.
