Pune, 3rd July 2026: A video of murder accused Siya Goyal allegedly making an obscene gesture at media cameras while being escorted by police during the investigation has gone viral on social media, triggering sharp reactions online.

The footage, captured by television news cameras as police brought Goyal out of her residence during the investigation, appears to show her raising her middle finger towards the media. The video has since circulated widely, with several social media users criticising her conduct and questioning the apparent lack of remorse despite her arrest.

The development comes as the police custody of Goyal and co-accused Chetan Chaudhary ends on Friday, with a local court set to decide whether the two will be remanded to further police custody or judicial custody.

Goyal and Chaudhary were arrested for allegedly conspiring to murder Ketan Agarwal, son of noted builder Vishal Agarwal. Police have alleged that Agarwal was pushed off Lohgad Fort on June 18 as part of a pre-planned conspiracy.

As part of the investigation, Pune Rural Police on Thursday took Goyal to multiple locations linked to the case for spot inspections and evidence collection. She was first taken to her residence at Leelakunj in Pune’s Market Yard area and later to locations in Lullanagar, including Fakhri Hills and Area 37, where police conducted panchnamas. Officers also seized the clothes she was allegedly wearing on the day of the incident.
