Shivajinagar registered a relative humidity of 87%, while the National Defence Academy (NDA) recorded 80%.

The maximum temperature in NDA reached 27.0°C, while Lohgaon and Shivajinagar registered maximums of 26.9°C and 26.7°C, respectively. Chinchwad recorded a maximum of 26.1°C, and Pashan registered 25.4°C. Lavale remained the coolest pocket with a maximum temperature of just 22.9°C.

Looking ahead, the IMD’s local forecast suggests that rainfall intensity will peak over the next 48 hours before gradually subsiding.

On Wednesday, July 8, generally cloudy skies are expected with light to moderate rain very likely, though a heavy to very heavy rainfall warning remains active for isolated places in the Ghat areas. Temperatures are forecast to range between 21°C and 27°C.

On Thursday, July 9, light to moderate rain will continue under generally cloudy skies, with heavy rainfall likely at isolated spots in the Ghats as temperatures rise slightly to a maximum of 28°C.

By Friday, July 10, the rain is expected to reduce to light showers under generally cloudy skies. From Saturday, July 11 through Monday, July 13, the weather will transition to partly cloudy skies that become generally cloudy towards the afternoon or evening, with light rain remaining likely. During this period, maximum temperatures are expected to gradually rise, reaching 29°C to 30°C.

Due to the threat of heavy to extremely heavy rainfall in the ghat areas, authorities have urged travelers to avoid unnecessary travel through the mountain passes (ghats) over the next 48 hours. The risk of localized waterlogging, landslides, and reduced road visibility remains elevated.
