Bhuj–Pune Express, CSMT–Kolhapur Express Among Key Trains Cancelled on July 8 Amid Karjat–Lonavala Landslide

Pune, 07th July 2026: Central Railway has announced changes to train operations for July 8 as restoration work continues following the landslide between Thakurvadi Cabin and Monkey Hill Cabin in the Karjat–Lonavala ghat section.

According to the latest operational update issued at 8 pm on July 7, several Mail and Express trains scheduled to run on July 8 have been cancelled or will originate from alternate stations, while a few services have been rescheduled.

Trains Cancelled on July 8

The following trains have been cancelled for journeys commencing on July 8:

Train No. 11091 Bhuj–Pune Express

Train No. 17411 CSMT–Kolhapur Express

Short-Originated Trains on July 8

The following trains will commence their journeys from intermediate stations instead of their scheduled originating stations:

Train No. 11301 CSMT–Bengaluru Express will originate from Pune.

Train No. 18520 LTT–Visakhapatnam Express will originate from Pune.

Train No. 11029 CSMT–Kolhapur Express will originate from Khadki.

Train No. 11021 Dadar–Tirunelveli Express will originate from Pune at 1 am on July 9.

Train No. 16339 LTT–Nagercoil Express will originate from Khadki.

Train No. 17613 Panvel–Nanded Express will originate from Daund.

Rescheduled Services

The following trains remain rescheduled due to the ongoing disruption:

Train No. 22157 CSMT–Chennai Egmore Express will depart at 3.30 am on July 8 instead of 10.52 pm on July 7.

Train No. 22107 CSMT–Latur Express will depart at 3 am on July 8 instead of 9 pm on July 7.

Train No. 11057 CSMT–Amritsar Express will depart at 4 am on July 8 instead of 11.30 pm on July 7.

Train No. 20496 Hadapsar–Jodhpur Express will depart at 3 am on July 8 instead of 7.15 pm on July 7.

The operational changes are part of Central Railway’s traffic management measures following the landslide in the Karjat–Lonavala ghat section. Restoration work is continuing, and passengers scheduled to travel on July 8 have been advised to verify the latest status of their trains before commencing their journey.
