Speaking on the occasion, Sandeep (Nana) Jagtap said, “Environmental conservation is not limited to planting trees. Every sapling must be nurtured and protected so that it grows into a healthy tree. Our aim is to encourage more citizens to actively participate in making Pune greener.”
Rohan Vilas Gaikwad said, “Tree plantation is one of the most meaningful investments we can make for future generations. Collective efforts by citizens can significantly improve the city’s green cover and environmental health.”
Maheshdada Punde added, “A clean and green environment is the foundation of a healthy society. Through such initiatives, we hope to inspire more people, especially the youth, to take responsibility for protecting nature.”
Green Nandanvan Foundation has been actively working towards environmental conservation through tree plantation drives, public awareness campaigns and the continuous care of planted saplings. Organisers appealed to citizens to participate in similar initiatives and ensure that every planted tree is nurtured, emphasising that protecting nature today is an investment in a safer, healthier and more sustainable tomorrow.
