Pune: Three Women Rescued as Hadapsar Police Bust Alleged Prostitution Racket at Spa

Pune, 25th July 2026: The Hadapsar Police have rescued three women after uncovering an alleged prostitution racket operating under the guise of a spa in the Magarpatta area. Police have booked the spa owner and manager under the provisions of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act (ITPA).

The accused have been identified as Ashwini Murde, owner of The Forever Spa and a resident of Kalyaninagar, and Rakbul Abul Hussain, the spa’s manager. Both are absconding, and efforts are underway to trace them.

According to the police, Senior Police Inspector Hemant Patil received specific information that prostitution was allegedly being carried out under the cover of massage services at The Forever Spa, located in The Cosmopolis Building opposite Seasons Mall in Magarpatta.

Acting on the tip-off, the police deployed a decoy customer to verify the information. After confirming the alleged illegal activity, a team from the Hadapsar Police raided the spa at around 7.30 pm on Wednesday.

During the raid, the police rescued three women who were allegedly lured with monetary incentives and exploited for commercial sexual activities. Investigators alleged that the accused were operating the illegal business by exploiting the women for financial gain.

Police Constable Babu Lonkar lodged the complaint in the case. A case has been registered against the two accused under the relevant provisions of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act. Since the raid, both accused have been absconding, and a search has been launched to apprehend them.

Further investigation is being carried out by Crime Inspector Nilesh Jagdale.
