Pune: The Orbis School’s NCC Cadets Shine at CATC 2026–27 with Outstanding Performance
Mundhwa, 5th August 2026: The NCC cadets of The Orbis School, Keshav Nagar, Pune, showcased exceptional discipline, determination, and leadership at the Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC) 2026–27, organised by the 3 Maharashtra Air Squadron NCC. Competing against over 400 cadets from schools and colleges across Pune, the contingent earned several accolades in both individual and team events, reflecting their commitment to excellence and holistic development.
The ten-day residential camp exposed cadets to rigorous military-style training, including drill, weapon training, field craft, physical fitness, disaster management, leadership exercises, and personality development sessions. In addition to training, cadets participated in competitions such as drill, sports, firing, cultural performances, debates, quizzes, and the prestigious Best Cadet contest.
Among the school’s key achievements, Leading Flight Cadet Amogh Wadekar secured the Runner-Up Best Cadet title. The Drill Team, led by Cadet Corporal Meher Raval, earned the Runner-Up Trophy in the Drill Competition, while the Quiz Team emerged as champions by winning the Quiz Competition Trophy. The school’s Cultural Team, choreographed by Leading Flight Cadet Krisha Modi, received appreciation for its energetic and well-executed performance. Several other cadets also delivered noteworthy performances across multiple events, contributing to the contingent’s impressive overall showing.
The team was guided by ANO Second Officer Wilson Shinde, whose focused training, mentorship, and emphasis on discipline, teamwork, and leadership helped prepare the cadets for success throughout the camp.
