Pune Traders Seek Dedicated Nodal Officer to Resolve Business Community’s Grievances
Pune, 13th August 2026: The BJP Traders Cell recently held a meeting with the Additional Commissioner of Police to discuss issues faced by the city’s business community. During the meeting, State/City President Mahesh Gupta demanded the appointment of a dedicated Nodal Officer to ensure that traders’ grievances are brought to the attention of the appropriate authorities and resolved promptly.
Gupta stressed that complaints and suggestions raised by traders should be given due priority and addressed within a reasonable timeframe. He also called for an effective mechanism for regular dialogue and coordination between the BJP Traders Cell and the police and traffic administration.
Speaking during the meeting, Gupta said the trading community is an important pillar of Pune’s economy. He said the BJP Traders Cell would continue to cooperate with the police administration in maintaining law and order and traffic discipline while also raising legitimate concerns of traders.
According to Gupta, constructive dialogue, better coordination and timely action are essential to resolving issues faced by the business community.
The meeting was attended by BJP Traders Cell office-bearers and members, including Vikram Chavan, Darshan Kirad, Sudheendra Kulkarni, Gajendra Deshpande, Amar Shah, Abhijeet Bhosale, Suvarna Shinde, Sarvajeet Kirad, Amol Badhe, Sunita Nijampurkar, Pooja Doshi, Sumer Singh Rajpurohit, Zhunjar Patil, Ojas Kothadiya, Nitin Dalvi, Roshni Nair, Pragya Attarde, Nimisha Ruikar, Madhuri Marathe, Aniruddha Divane, Chintamani Rasane, Rajiv Lulla, Preeti Bansod and Karuna Naik.
