Pune: Consultation on Recruitment Exam Reforms to Be Held at SPPU on 12th September
Pune, 8th September 2026: The Maharashtra government’s high-level task force on recruitment examination reforms will hold a consultation with students, competitive examination aspirants, educational institutions and subject experts in Pune on 12th September.
The consultation is part of the state government’s initiative to make recruitment examinations more secure, transparent, reliable and candidate-friendly. The task force is undertaking a comprehensive review of the existing recruitment examination system and is seeking direct feedback from stakeholders.
The consultation will be held at Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) from 10:30 am to 5:30 pm on 12th September. Students and stakeholders from Pune district and across the Pune Revenue Division will be able to participate in the interaction.
As Pune is one of Maharashtra’s major centres for competitive examination preparation, the consultation is expected to provide aspirants with an opportunity to directly raise concerns and suggest reforms in the examination system.
Participants can share their experiences, challenges and recommendations on various aspects of recruitment examinations, including question paper management, examination centre arrangements, examination security and credibility, the use of technology, communication with candidates, grievance redressal mechanisms and the overall examination process.
To coordinate the consultation, a dedicated coordination cell has been established on the fifth floor of the Pune District Collector’s Office.
The district administration has appealed to students, competitive examination aspirants, educational institutions, subject experts and other stakeholders to submit their suggestions and feedback by 10th September via email at [email protected].
The submissions and requests for direct interaction will be reviewed, following which concerned individuals and institutions will be informed about their discussion slots on 11th September.
