Pune Yard Block on September 13 to Cancel 7 Trains, Shift 11 Services to Khadki, Hadapsar and Shivajinagar

Pune, 10th September 2026: Central Railway’s Pune Division will operate a nine-hour traffic and power block on September 13 at Pune Yard, resulting in cancellations and changes to several suburban and long-distance train services.

The block will be undertaken from 8 am to 5 pm on Sunday for engineering, Signal and Telecommunication (S&T), and Overhead Equipment (OHE) works related to the replacement of DDS Point Nos. 228 (I) and 226 (III) and conversion of the existing 52 kg layout to a 60 kg layout in the Pune-Daund section.

During the block, Platform No. 1, the Up Main line and the Down Main line from the CSMT end will remain unavailable for train movements.

Seven train services will remain fully cancelled on September 13. These include 99902 Pune–Talegaon Suburban, 99903 Talegaon–Pune Suburban, 99818 Pune–Lonavala Suburban, 99817 Lonavala–Shivajinagar Suburban, 11007 CSMT Mumbai–Pune Express, 11008 Pune–CSMT Mumbai Express and 71407 Pune–Daund DEMU.

Several other services will be short-terminated at intermediate stations. The 12940 Jaipur–Pune Express with JCO September 12 will terminate at Khadki, while the 12136 Nagpur–Pune Express and 11406 Amravati–Pune Express, both with JCO September 12, will terminate at Hadapsar.

The 12127 CSMT Mumbai–Pune Express with JCO September 13 will terminate at Khadki. The 11078 Jammu Tawi–Pune Express with JCO September 11 will terminate at Hadapsar. The 99813 Lonavala–Pune Suburban will terminate at Shivajinagar, while the 71406 Baramati–Pune DEMU will terminate at Daund.

Four services will instead originate from intermediate stations. The 99820 Pune–Lonavala Suburban will originate from Shivajinagar. The 12939 Pune–Jaipur Express will originate from Khadki at 5:35 pm, while the 12135 Pune–Nagpur Express will originate from Hadapsar at 5:45 pm.

The 12128 Pune–CSMT Mumbai Express will also originate from Khadki at 5:55 pm.

The dates mentioned for the affected trains refer to their Journey Commencing On (JCO) dates.

Passengers travelling on the affected services have been advised to check the latest train running status and revised schedules before starting their journey through the Indian Railways enquiry portal or the official NTES app.
